Sardis–Laodicea–Hierapolis–Aphrodisias Practical Training & Educational Trip Led by Prof. Dr. Özlem KÖROĞLU (18-19 October 2025)

An educational field trip was organized for students of Balıkesir University Faculty of Tourism on October 18–19, 2025, under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Özlem KÖROĞLU, Head of the Department of Tourism Guidance.As part of the trip, the Ancient City of Sardis, the Ancient City of Laodicea, the Ancient City of Hierapolis, the Pamukkale Travertines, and the Ancient City of Aphrodisias were visited. During the visit to the Ancient City of Laodicea, Lecturer Yasemin İNCEELGİL, a member of the Laodicea excavation team, accompanied the group and shared valuable information about the site.We would like to express our gratitude to the Rectorate of Balıkesir University for its valuable support in making this educational trip possible. We also thank Lecturer Yasemin İNCEELGİL for accompanying us during our visit to the ancient city and sharing her valuable knowledge with our students.
