Ephesus Ancient City–Şirince–Kuşadası City Tour (19.04.2026)

As part of the Tourism Week activities held from April 15–22, the practical training and educational field trip to Ephesus Ancient City, Şirince, and Kuşadası was organized by the Department of Tourism Guidance on April 19, 2026. The trip was conducted under the guidance of tour guide and Head of the Department of Tourism Guidance, Prof. Dr. Özlem Köroğlu.The program was attended by Balıkesir University Rector Prof. Dr. Yücel Oğurlu, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Cevdet Avcıkurt, and Deputy Secretary General Soner Şahin.As part of the program, Ephesus Ancient City, the Ephesus Museum, the Temple of Artemis, the House of the Virgin Mary, Şirince, and Kuşadası were visited. During the field trip, students were provided with opportunities for practical training on site, enabling them to reinforce their professional knowledge and experience.We would like to thank the Rectorate of Balıkesir University for its support in this valuable organization, which provided an effective field experience as an essential component of tourism guidance education.
