8th National Congress on Tourism Guidance (24.04.2026)

The 8th National Congress on Tourism Guidance was held on April 24–25, 2026, hosted by the Faculty of Tourism at Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University. The congress was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Tourism, Prof. Dr. Ahmet KÖROĞLU, Head of the Department of Tourism Guidance Prof. Dr. Özlem KÖROĞLU, faculty members, and graduate students.Prof. Dr. Özlem KÖROĞLU, Head of the Department of Tourism Guidance at our Faculty, received the “Best Paper Awards” for her papers titled “The Green Heritage of the Black Sea: A Proposal for a Tourist Guide Specialization Program in Tea Tourism” and “From Visual Narrative to Seminal Tourist Experience: A Proposal for a Tourist Guide Specialization Program on Ottoman Miniatures.”
