MISSION of the Department of Tourist Guiding;
The mission of the department is to provide a high-quality and scientific education, thereby training qualified tourist guides, as well as prospective middle- and upper-level managers and employees for the tourism sector. In line with this mission, the department aims to educate competent tourist guides and managerial candidates who possess at least one foreign language at an advanced level; who research, preserve, recognize, and promote the country, its history, geography, and culture; who have the ability to build human relations and solve problems; who demonstrate leadership and representation skills; and who uphold fundamental social values.

Graduates of the Department of Tourist Guiding;
Upon fulfilling the professional requirements, graduates are granted a license and may practice as Professional Tourist Guides. They may also pursue careers in travel agencies, accommodation establishments, and airline companies.
